    How does it work?

    1) How do I know the charger is working?

    - The red power light will illuminate when it is running.
    - Your phone will indicate charging

    2) How to power from a battery pack:

    - Plug directly into a power outlet on the battery pack.
    - You may need to turn the battery pack outlet on.

    3) How to power from the power grid:

    - Plug directly into a power outlet.

    4) How to power from solar:

    4.1) You will need the solar adapter.

    4.2) Use any standard solar panels — rigid or flexible — and you’re good to go.

    4.3) Do you have 12 volt or 24 volt panels?
    - Check the label on the back of your panel and find the voltage rating (usually marked ‘Vmp’ or ‘Vpmax’).

    4.4) - If it’s above 24V, it’s a 24V panel. If it’s below 24V, it’s a 12V panel.

    Number is less than 24.
    This is a 12-volt panel.

    4.5) If you have 24-Volt Panels (you need 3 of them)

    Connect them together in "Series" (3 x 24-volt panels)

    4.6) If you have 12-Volt Panels (you need 6 of them)

    Connect them together in "Series" (6 x 12-volt panels)

    4.7) Attach the solar adapter cable onto the end solar panels connections.
    - Make sure the charger is NOT plugged in.
    - Black cable attaches to solar panel "-" cable.
    - Red cable attaches to solar panel "+" cable

    4.8) Once your panels are connected and the adapter is in place, plug in the charger last. The red power light should turn on — and you’re ready to charge.

    FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

    1) What is the GridMover Charger?

    - A high-performance, 342W off-grid charger with 8 USB ports and dual wireless charging pads.
    - Works with solar panels, battery packs, or the grid — no inverter required.

    2) Can I use this if I don’t have solar yet?

    - Yes! You can power it using any standard wall outlet or battery pack.

    3) Does it work without solar?

    - Yes. It works on the power grid, standard battery packs / banks and it works on solar.

    4) Can I use it during blackouts?

    - Yes. If there is sunlight - power the charger with solar.
    - You may also use a generator or a battery pack / bank.

    5) What power grids does it work on?

    - It works on any power grid that has a voltage from 100 to 240 volts.
    - For voltages above 120, you will need an adapter. This should be included with your charger (based on the country it ships to).

    6) Can I charge battery packs / banks with it?

    - Yes. If the battery can be charged by USB or USB-C.
    - Use the PD100 port for charging up to 100 watts.

    - Make sure your USB-C cable is rated for 100W or higher to get the full power from the PD100 port.

    7) What are the maximum watts each port will run?

    -The ports are marked with their maximum wattage.
    -The wireless smart phone / device charger runs up to 15 watts max, if your phone / device supports that.

    PD100 = 100 watts max.
    C2 = 20 watts max.
    A1 = 18 watts max.
    A2 = 18 watts max.

    8) Where do I get the solar adapter?

    - It is optional and may come with your charger.
    - You may also buy one separately from our Indiegogo campaign.

    9) What solar panels does it work with?

    -You’ll need 3 standard 24V panels, or 6 standard 12V panels — connected in series.

    10) How many watts of solar panels do I need?

    -Running the charger at full power:
    -Single USB or USB + Wireless = 300 Total Solar Panel Watts.
    -Double USB + Wireless = 600 Total Solar Panel Watts.

    11) What if there aren't enough solar panel watts

    -The charger will run at lower capacity if there is not enough wattage.

    12) The plug won't fit into my power outlet.

    -If your power grid or battery outlets are different than the US outlet type, you need an adapter.
    -Your charger should come with it.
